For 21 years, D+I has worked in partnership with Industry Pioneers - DJO/Chattanooga - to deliver over 15 products over 20 progressive generations. D+I and DJO/Chattanooga have worked to develop a world class design language system + signature colour-material-finish elements to create a visually harmonious product range for the brand. In developing a wide range physiotherapy products DJO & D+I design choices have been driven by human centered principles and extensive voice of the customer research findings. A World Class Product Family — Designed with British Chef Heston Blumenthal
D+I has worked in partnership with pioneer Chef - Heston Blumenthal and Everdure to deliver a world class BBQ'ing product family. The 4K BBQ is inspired by the 4,000-year-old tradition of Kamado-style cooking, D+I developed the 4K outdoor oven by combining the intelligence and convenience of contemporary technology with the unique benefits of this ancient cooking technique. The HUB barbeque was awarded the Red Dot: Best of the Best — the highest distinction in the Red Dot Award: Product Design. The jury agreed that Everdure by Heston Blumenthal and D+I have created an extraordinary, innovative design and that the HUB barbeque is one of the best products of 2017. Designed for display, rather than just a piece of hardware to be used. The Telstra Locator family is an innovative new finding service from Telstra, Australia’s largest telco, designed to help customers keep track of the things that matter to them – from keys and bags to bikes, pets and even business assets like tools and vehicles. North American Market Leader — Multi-industry Smart Fare Vending Machines
D+I was been working with VenTek to develop Smart Fare Vending machines for 10+ years. The next generation SFVM (2020) is the result of over 3+ years development + testing to meet 600+ requirements. The unattended ticket system is modular + configurable to suit any industry/application that requires tickets to be purchased. The SFVM had to be built like a tank, robust enough to withstand the diverse weather conditions of the North American markets(-40°C up to +40°C / freezing through to desert extremes / IP56: Water + Dust Proof) and impenetrable to attempts of vandals (4 levels of physical security - to a German Standard).
