DiUS Powersensor

The simplest way to see and save on your electricity spend and maximise solar generation savings.

Powersensor is a unique, patented Internet of Things (IoT) technology created in Melbourne, Australia by DiUS Computing. D+I was approached to assist in the design, prototyping, development and optimisation of the Powersensor device for mass manufacture. Powersensor is a low-cost energy monitoring tool enabling households to monitor + optimise their home energy consumption and solar generation in the palm of their hand. The product comprises two DIY install IoT devices that collect the data, a unique cloud-based algorithm to analyse the data and a mobile app to make real-time and historic insights available to the household on demand. It is designed equally for households and energy providers. Households are able to better understand and optimise their energy usage patterns allowing them to save money, whereas for energy companies it offers a way to develop new innovative ideas to better understand and engage with their customers.

Be more informed. Avoid bill shock.

View historic trends and real-time data of energy consumption. View historic trends and real-time data relating to solar generation. Time the running of your loads to maximise your solar savings. Or, get an early warning when your solar panels need to be cleaned or replaced. Understand how much energy specific appliances are using (to optimised when you use the appliance, or, identify if a more efficient replacement is required.)
