Telstra Locator is an innovative new finding service from Telstra, Australia’s largest telco, designed to help customers keep track of the things that matter to them – from keys and bags to bikes, pets and even business assets like tools and vehicles.

A tag for everything.

Locator can keep track of everything you own — from your keys to your dog or even your business assets. There is a Locator Tag for every application: one uses low powered Bluetooth and another adds Wi-Fi and a rechargeable battery.

The Bluetooth Tag (above) is small and lightweight, ideal for locating personal items such as your keys. The Wi-Fi Tag (below) is ideal for when you’re out and about — walking your dog or bike riding for example.

 Locator smartphone app.

By simply connecting a Locator Tag to their valuables, Telstra customers are able to locate them using the Locator smartphone app. Every Locator Tag is connected to the Telstra Finding Network, making it easy to pinpoint an item’s precise location. D+I designed an intuitive user-interface for the Locator app that makes it simple to locate devices, manage tags and create geofenced zones and notifications.
