Red Dot Award Winner

Siemens Xprecia Stride, the world’s first point-of-care blood coagulation analyser, wins a Red Dot Award

The jury of the Red Dot Awards has judged the Xprecia Stride™ coagulation analyser to be a winner in the very competitive Product Design category. It was a noteworthy year to be awarded this honour, with the highly respected Red Dot Awards programme celebrating its 60th year. With over 4900 entries from 56 countries, the competition this year was particularly tough.

The Xprecia Stride™ also took out the prestigious Good Design Award in the Medical and Scientific category at the Australian International Design Awards. It’s wonderful to be recognised in Australia through the Good Design Awards and also internationally through the Red Dot Award, a massive achievement and great recognition for the D+I team.

"Working with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics and Universal Biosensors was truly a collaborative experience. Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics and Universal Biosensors facilitated a development program that allowed the entire team to push hard on the limits of design, manufacturing and material performance."
