Aqua Diagnostic PeCOD

The PeCOD™ is a portable chemical oxygen demand (COD) analyser used to measure water quality. D+I worked with Aqua Diagnostic to develop an innovative solution that is light weight, battery powered and menu-driven making it suitable for use in the field or in factories where on-the-spot analysis is required.

Innovative technique.

Many governments strictly regulate the maximum chemical oxygen demand allowed in waste water returned to the environment, therefore it's essential that users have access to measurement tools that can quickly and accurately measure COD. The patented technology developed for PeCOD™ is capable of quickly and accurately determining COD in both natural and wastewater samples. The PeCOD™ approach overcomes many of the problems encountered by existing COD methods and ensures that users obtain a true measurement of organic pollution.
